A16Z Crypto introduces Twist and Shout, an innovative memory test designed to improve ZKVM performance by ensuring the exact processing of memory tasks.

The A16Z Crypto has announced the launch of Twist and Shout, a state -of -the -art memory test, designed to improve the performance of the Gnostic Funny virtual machine (ZKVM). According to the A16Z Crypto, this goal of this innovation is to allow certificates to accurately handle memory work.

ZKVM performance improvement

Twist and Shout promises a significant improvement in ZKVM by allowing the certificate to commit quickly to a large and rare vector. This commit process simplifies the memory inspection into a constraint condition system that allows the total inspection protocol to process efficiently. As a result, JOLT, an open source ZKVM of the A16Z, is expected to achieve three times the end -to -end proof speed and create shorter proofs.

Main innovation

With the introduction of Twist and Shout, JOLT’s inquiry -oriented architecture has been verified. JOLT converts all VM tasks to read and write and write and write for memory inquiries or registers and RAMs. This approach to replacing existing arguments with Twist and Shout generates a modular architecture that improves proof.

Implications for snark

Twist and Shout emphasizes the importance of total confirmation protocols in fast Snark certification. JOLT with Twist and Shout is more performance than Hasing -based SNARK, with focus on multi -line polynomials and total inspection protocols rather than daily variations. In addition, the use of 256 -bit or binary fields is optimal for snark performance, providing significant speed advantages compared to small fields.

A wider application field

In addition to ZKVM, Twist and Shout are used as valuable standalone default elements in Snark design. They introduce new technologies to handle large and rare vectors to promote the development of new high -performance SNARK protocols in various applications.

The release of Twist and Shout shows the main development of ZKVM technology, emphasizing the central role of the total confirmation protocol in strengthening the design principles of JOLT and achieving rapid snowk calculations.
