Aark Digital recently experienced a security incident where an unauthorized party accessed and withdrew approximately 1,386,085 USDC and 24.143 ETH. In response, the project began 24/7 recovery efforts while also implementing additional security measures to prevent further unauthorized activity.
As part of its recovery strategy, Aark Digital is offering a 15% reward to those responsible for the safe and complete return of the embezzled assets. This bounty of 225,000 USDC is intended to encourage the return of funds, details of which can be found on Arkham’s bounties platform here.
If full recovery does not occur, Aark Digitial said it will announce a deployment plan to appropriately address the situation. The organization has set a deadline of 15:00 UTC on October 26, 2024 for the responsible parties to respond, and said it is prepared to take legal action if the funds are not returned within this time.
