Algorand Foundation CEO Staci Warden’s X (formerly Twitter) account has been hacked. The foundation announced the breach and urged the community not to click on links or respond to direct messages from the account.

The attacker then shared the following: backhanded This is the story that supposedly took Algorand to new heights by giving Tron founder Justin Sun “complete control” over the project and the ability to mint all tokens back into TrueUSD (TUSD).
The hacker’s post drew mixed reactions from the community. Some members thought it was funny and even suggested hiring a hacker, while others took the opportunity to criticize the Warden.
This incident follows a similar incident on January 9, when the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission’s (SEC) X account was hacked.
