AltLayer announced that it has added support for the DA layer of the NEAR protocol to its rollup product. AltLayer chose the NEAR integration because it facilitates transaction commitments on Ethereum L2. This allows users to securely send batch transaction commitments to smart contracts.

NEAR’s DA layer also has a reputation for being economical and having a strong validator network. L2 solutions can be deployed in the most decentralized and cost-effective manner through the DA layer of the NEAR protocol.

This development strengthens the case for the effectiveness and value of the NEAR protocol. The native token, NEAR, is heavily marketed and now offers the ability to increase adoption at a higher rate. The token was last traded at $1.88 and is up 1.99% over the last 24 hours.

The NEAR protocol experienced a rise of approximately 40% in the last 30 days before November 10, 2023. At the time, the token was listed at $1.51.

The evolution of the cryptocurrency market from its winter shell is largely due to the rise of the NEAR protocol and its tokens. NEAR Protocol It has emerged as an alternative for enthusiasts looking to expand their portfolio. NEAR DA (NEAR Data Availability) has been released by StarkNet specifically for developers working with Madara. The first users are Movement Labs, Vistara, and Fluent.

These tools are defined as groundbreaking solutions built to keep costs at the lowest possible level. NEAR DA helps developers build innovations with predictable and negligible gas fees. Another reason why the NEAR protocol continues to gain momentum is because there are two components that are underlined in the roadmap: – Experience and core. Both are different from each other.

Experience deals with the actual experience and functionality for developers, while Core is concerned with driving decentralization and scalability of the protocol. NEAR’s BOS is currently hosting a decentralized dApp store with projects looking to leverage its potential to provide enhanced experiences to users.

In the future, the NEAR Foundation plans to collaborate with Polygon Labs. They will build the ZK prover for the Wasm blockchain.

AltLayer emerges from the successful Rollup Frontier Day at Devconnect. The goal was to talk about rollup economics, staking, and interoperability.

AltLayer and NEAR protocols are perfect for each other as they both value economics. This is evident from the fact that NEAR DA is 8,000 times more economical than Ethereum DA, which AltLayer acknowledged by sharing a post.

The community has expressed excitement about AltLayer adding support for the DA layer of the NEAR protocol. Members say NEAR is now becoming the best DA solution for rollups. Others said they were bearish on AltLayer and the NEAR protocol.
