Several altcoins could be poised to make significant moves in the cryptocurrency market this week, depending on developments in each ecosystem.
A tight schedule can have a huge impact on investor sentiment and project momentum across the altcoin sector, as each event can impact protocol growth and token performance.
Chainlink Rewards Season 1
On November 3, the network announced Chainlink Rewards Season 1, scheduled for November 11, and expected to include nine build projects.

In a separate blog, we highlighted the initiative to enable the Chainlink Build project to allow Chainlink ecosystem participants, including eligible LINK stakers, to claim their native tokens.
This builds on the success of Chainlink Rewards Season Genesis, where Space and Time gave away 100 million SXT tokens to qualifying LINK stakers. Building on this, Season 1 will introduce more advanced participation and billing mechanisms.
“Chainlink stakers can earn token rewards from up to 9 Chainlink Build projects through the Chainlink Rewards Program over the next month,” one user emphasized.
Among the projects are Dolomite (DOLO), Space and Time (SXT), XSwap, Brickken (BKN), Folks Finance (FOLKS), and Mind Network (FHE), as well as SUKU, TRUF, and BCUT.
Ahead of these developments tomorrow, Chainlink’s LINK token is trading at $16.26, up more than 6% in the last 24 hours.

Injective’s Altria Upgrade
Injective’s INJ token could be ready to move this week, with the Altria upgrade scheduled for Tuesday, November 11. Notably, this upgrade, one of the network’s largest to date, follows the passage of the proposal (IIP-583).
“INJ stakers overwhelmingly voted in favor of launching the most performant EVM layer with real-time transaction speeds and instant finality. A new era for Injective is upon us,” Injective recently said on social media.
Injective Altaris launched on mainnet on August 1, 2024 with the mission to revolutionize the layer 1 sector.
We also aimed to redefine Injective with a variety of new features, from improved scalability to new ways to tokenize assets.
Ahead of Injective’s Altria upgrade, INJ’s price rose nearly 12% and was trading at $8.04 at the time of this writing.

Lido Finance Token Holder Update
Additionally, LDO prices may see some volatility on November 11th, mainly due to Lido Finance token holder updates. Although details have not been revealed, these updates typically discuss governance changes, protocol adjustments, or strategic plans for the liquid staking platform.
Lido remains a dominant presence in liquid staking, especially for Ethereum. Because Lido’s significant total value is fixed, adjustments to its governance or tokenomics could have implications for the broader DeFi space.
Ripple price awaits potential Canary Capital XRP ETF
Ripple price could also move this week following the scheduled launch of the Canary Capital XRP ETF on Thursday, November 13. Pending Nasdaq approval, Canary Capital has updated its S-1 filing for its spot XRP ETF by removing the “delayed amendment.”
This amendment allows the SEC to control the effective timing of registration statements by preventing them from automatically becoming effective.
Otherwise, the filing will automatically become effective after a 20-day waiting period pursuant to Section 8(a) of the Securities Act of 1933, unless the SEC issues a further opinion or takes other action.
