AMD has announced Amuse 2.2 beta with support for Stable Diffusion 3.5, which improves image quality for Ryzen AI processors and Radeon graphics.

Version 2.2 Beta, the latest version of Amuse, is now available with notable enhancements for users of AMD Ryzen™ AI 300 Series processors and Radeon™ 7000 Series graphics. This release incorporates support for the Stable Diffusion 3.5 model family, as reported by AMD Community.

Stable Diffusion 3.5 Integration

Amuse 2.2 beta introduces the Stable Diffusion 3.5 family, which includes models such as the Stable Diffusion 3.5 Medium, Large, and Large Turbo. The standout model, Stable Diffusion 3.5 Large, boasts 8.1 billion parameters and provides advanced image generation capabilities at 1024×1024 resolution. A more streamlined version, Stable Diffusion 3.5 Large Turbo, promotes faster image creation with minimal quality loss.

With 2.5 billion parameters, Stable Diffusion 3.5 Medium supports resolutions up to 2 megapixels, reducing memory requirements, making it suitable for a wider range of hardware. These models are now accessible to AMD users through Amuse 2.2 Beta, which optimizes model deployment through a “minimal” mode and leverages disk and RAM speeds for efficiency.

Enhanced Image Quality for AMD Ryzen™ AI

In addition to support for new models, Amuse 2.2 Beta delivers significant image quality improvements for AMD Ryzen™ AI processors. This update integrates Stable Diffusion Lightning to improve image generation quality in “HQ” mode. This advancement is especially useful for lightweight systems that operate offline, leveraging AMD

HQ mode now includes an “Enhance Quality” feature that further improves image quality despite increased creation time. Users can explore these enhancements by downloading Amuse on their AMD Ryzen™ AI 300 Series devices and adjusting the quality settings.

AMD XDNA™ Super-Resolution Optimization

AMD XDNA™ architecture has been enhanced to complement AI filters and AI design tools within Amuse to accelerate end-to-end upscaling. This user-friendly AI toolkit requires no technical expertise and provides automatic configuration for smooth operation.

Those interested in trying out these new features can download Amuse 2.2 from the official Amuse AI website.
