Animoca Brands Japan partners with TOKYO STUPID GAMES to enhance Web3 expansion and real-world asset integration.





Animoca Brands Japan, a strategic subsidiary of Animoca Brands, has announced a partnership with TOKYO STUPID GAMES, a gaming platform focused on real-world assets (RWAs) for Japanese brands and intellectual properties (IPs). According to Animoca Brands, the collaboration aims to support TOKYO STUPID GAMES’ global expansion by leveraging Animoca Brands Japan’s extensive network, with a focus on marketing and token economics planning and design.

Web3 Integration and Real Assets

TOKYO STUPID GAMES is developing a platform where users can acquire NFTs linked to RWAs such as trading cards, original goods, and fashion items. The initiative aims to promote the use of Web3 technologies for Japanese brands and IPs to enhance their global presence, fan acquisition, and user engagement. The platform has previously hosted art exhibitions showcasing international collaborations between Japanese and global Web3 projects, and has partnered with prominent Japanese pop culture and contemporary art leaders such as PARCO and Warehouse TERRADA.

Strategic Goals and Support

Animoca Brands Japan serves as a gateway between Japan and the global market, supporting the international development of Japanese IP and content in the Web3 domain. The company aims to accelerate the mass adoption of Web3 by leveraging the extensive network and experience of over 540 companies and projects invested by its parent company, Animoca Brands. This partnership is expected to strengthen TOKYO STUPID GAMES’ global expansion, which is in line with Animoca Brands Japan’s mission to promote Japanese culture worldwide.
