Knowledge as Ethereum’s Flywheel
Ethereum is transforming the way people view economics and finance, challenging cybersecurity in a new context, influencing art and culture, changing identities, and ultimately redesigning the status quo in various areas of society, creating tremendous impact. It continues to develop at a rapid pace.
Academia can and should have an increased role in this process to help solve key issues and advance the Ethereum ecosystem.
There is a growing number of outstanding researchers exploring various domain areas related to Ethereum and positively impacting our shared knowledge on privacy, mechanism design, economics, transparency, financial inclusion, and more. But we want to foster more!
Distributed knowledge and a truly global community
The goal of this grant round is to support formal research on Ethereum and related domains while also involving more participants in the ecosystem. As more knowledge and research is shared across the global community, Ethereum can evolve to have a larger and more positive impact.
