The ultimate goal of the partnership is to expand Arbitrum’s presence in the Korean market, providing a seamless development environment for Korean developers and enterprises.
Arbitrum is considered the most comprehensive Layer 2 solution when it comes to Total Fixed Value (TVL) volumes. TVL is the most important indicator for evaluating capital invested in blockchain or decentralized finance (Defi) protocols. According to l2beat, since the beginning of this year, blockchain has seen notable net asset inflows exceeding $14 billion.
Against the backdrop of the partnership announcement, the native token Arbitrum (ARB) is trading at $2.00 at the time of publication. According to CoinMarketCap, the price is up 4% in the last 24 hours and almost 10% in a month.
In the case of Korea, influence in the cryptocurrency industry is growing. Last December, Bloomberg reported that the Korean won surpassed the U.S. dollar in cryptocurrency exchange trading volume for the first time. Journalists note that many companies see great opportunities in Korea as regulatory pressure increases in the United States.
