Keynote
- Mihailo Bjelic is moving away from the polygonal foundation to pursue other efforts.
- Sandeep Nailwal is currently the only co -founder of the Polygon Foundation Board.
- Pol Price fell 4% after the announcement.
Mihailo Bjelic, one of the co -founders of the polygon, decided to withdraw from the Board of Directors. As a result, he became the third founder who had been far from the protocol since Jaynti Kanani and Anurag Arjun. According to his position on X, Bjelic plans to insist on cheering for a polygon in a side job.
Why is Bjelic withdrawal from polygon leadership?
Although it was not explicitly explained, the co -founder admitted that the project had evolved and mature.
Therefore, he pointed out that “the vision evolves and sometimes it is natural to radiate.” A guess is that it is the divergence that goes out of the ecosystem board. Bjelic also made it clear that it can no longer contribute to the polygon.
PSA: After a lot of thoughts and reflections, I decided to retire from the board of directors and to destroy everyday participation with a polygon lab.
I was introduced to Crypto in 2013 (DAMN, Time Flies). Until 2017, I went down the rabbit hole deeply…

At the same time, he is positive about Ether Leeum -based layer -2 scaling solution. In this note, the encryption innovator promised to show the support in the background.
The exit of the Polygon Foundation Board added bjelic to co -founder Jaynti Kanani and Anurag Arjun, which recently played a role in the blockchain project. Arjun resigned for the first time as a board member in March 2023. He left in 2024 to focus on Avavil, his module blockchain project, where major networks live.
Seven months later, Kanani also decided to retire. Today, Sandeep Nailwal is the only co -founder of the Polygon Foundation Protocol Board.
Along with Nailwal, all four individuals established Etherum -based L2 eight years ago. During this period, the ecosystem recorded notable growth. It even went from polygon to what was called the MATIC network. More recent, it has moved the MATIC token to POL to reflect evolution.
Bjelic was written on X on May 23, 2025.
Bjelic has argued that he has been in the encryption space since 2013.
In light of the latest development, the co -founder of the Polygon has announced plans to stop working with Polygon Labs Daily.
Are you in pain?
Bjelic’s Polygon Labs and Polygon Foundation Board announced the exit of the exit of the encryption community. Some people are interrupted by exit tendency, and some provide the latest information due to a polygonal loss. This is based on Bjelic’s contribution to the main development recorded in the protocol.
Other groups quote the potential problems with the ecosystem, but no one could prove this claim. The polygon had a hard time in early 2025 due to a decrease in network health. Some analysts and market observers are now concerned that POL will be significantly down.
At the time of this article, the price of POL was $ 0.2368, which is 3.72% deep, which would have been affected by Bjelic’s exit update.
