According to Binance, one of the world’s leading cryptocurrency exchanges, Binance has announced the listing of Toncoin (TON) with Seed Tag. Trading for the new spot pair will begin on August 8, 2024 at 10:00 UTC.
New Spot Trading Pairs
New spot trading pairs available for Toncoin (TON) include TON/BTC, TON/USDT, TON/FDUSD, TON/TRY. Users can deposit TON to prepare for trading, and withdrawals will be available from 10:00 UTC on August 9, 2024. In particular, the listing fee for TON is set to 0 BNB.
What is Toncoin (TON)?
Toncoin is a decentralized and open Layer 1 blockchain built by the community using technology originally designed by Telegram. The network aims to provide a robust and scalable solution for decentralized applications and services.
Seed Tags and Related Risks
The Seed Tag applied to TON means that the token belongs to the category of innovative projects that may have higher volatility and risk compared to other listed tokens. Users interested in trading tokens with the Seed Tag must pass the corresponding quiz on the Binance Spot and/or Binance Margin platforms every 90 days to understand the relevant risks.
Users must also agree to Binance’s Terms of Use. Seed tags and risk warnings are prominently displayed on each trading page and the Markets Overview page.
Geographic restrictions
Trading of new TON pairs is subject to eligibility based on the user’s country of residence or region. Currently, users residing in Canada, Cuba, Crimea, Iran, Japan, Netherlands, North Korea, Syria, the United States and its territories, and non-government controlled areas of Ukraine are not eligible to trade these pairs. This list may be updated periodically to reflect changes in laws, regulations, or other factors.

Binance reminds users to do their own research before trading Toncoin to avoid scams and ensure the safety of their funds. It also emphasizes that TON is a newly listed token and may be subject to high price volatility. Therefore, users should exercise sufficient risk management and due diligence (DYOR).
