Binance announced the launch of the ‘Word of the Day’ (WOTD) game, a new educational initiative aimed at improving users’ cryptocurrency literacy. The latest topic revolves around stablecoins, which, as stated by Binance, are an important part of the cryptocurrency ecosystem.
Game mechanics and rewards
WOTD games are designed to allow participants to engage in word guessing and test their knowledge of specific cryptographic topics. Users can play up to two games per day, and users who achieve a total of five correct answers during the activity period will share in a pool of 500,000 Binance points. These points can be exchanged for BNB token vouchers and trading fee rebate vouchers on the Binance Rewards Hub.
The activity period is from November 18, 2024 to November 24, 2024. Activating the second game requires users to share selected articles on social media and have third parties click on the sharing link.
Incentives for new users
Binance is also offering a welcome bonus to new users who register with referral code “WOTD2024” during the activity period. These new users will receive a 10% discount on spot trading fees along with a potential welcome reward by completing tasks within 14 days of registering.
Binance Points Information
Binance Points are offered as part of the platform’s loyalty program, allowing users to earn rewards through a variety of activities. Accumulated points can be used to claim benefits in the rewards store, strengthening user engagement and encouraging participation in Binance’s educational activities.
Terms of Use
Participants must adhere to certain terms and conditions set forth by Binance for WOTD activities. In particular, game access may not be available in certain regions, and all participants must complete account verification. Binance reserves the right to modify or cancel the promotion without prior notice.
Binance also emphasizes the importance of adhering to platform rules, warning that any fraudulent activity or violation may result in disqualification from rewards. The gaming initiative aims to strengthen users’ understanding of the cryptocurrency market, in line with Binance’s broader educational goals.
