PORTAL, a cross-chain gaming platform, will be launched on Binance Launchpool starting February 22nd. Users can earn PORTAL tokens by staking BNB and FDUSD for 7 days.
Binance announced Portal as the 47th project on its Launchpool platform. Launchpool allows users to stake BNB, BUSD, and other cryptocurrencies to earn new token rewards.
7 days of farming
The portal farming event will run from 0:00 UTC on February 22nd to 23:59 UTC on February 28th. A total of 50 million PORTAL tokens will be distributed to BNB and FDUSD pools as rewards.
The BNB pool will receive 40 million PORTAL (80% of rewards) and the FDUSD pool will receive 10 million tokens (20% of rewards).
To participate, users must complete KYC verification and meet eligibility criteria based on their country of residence. Hourly reward limits apply and are updated in real time on each pool page.
Portal listing
After farming, PORTAL will be listed on Binance and open for trading on BTC, USDT, BNB, FDUSD and TRY pairs on February 29th. PORTAL tickers will receive Binance’s “seed” tag.
Portal boasts a supply of up to 1 billion PORTAL tokens, of which 167 million will be initially in circulation. The blockchain gaming startup has raised funding from investors such as Polygon Studios, Cultur3 Capital, and Dweb3.
Connect your game to Web3
“Portal is a cross-chain gaming platform with a mission to bring more players to Web 3.0,” Binance said in the announcement.
The project aims to serve as a bridge to give traditional mobile and PC gamers access to Web3 games while maintaining a familiar user experience. The platform offers game discovery, profiles, tournaments, and an NFT marketplace.
Portal also provides full-stack game development support, including analytics, player insights, marketing tools, and blockchain integration. The ecosystem uses a dual token model with PORTAL governance and utility tokens and in-game tokens.
