Binance supports network upgrades and hard forks of BNB Beacon Chain and BNB Smart Chain. Maintenance is scheduled for April 15th and 18th, and deposits and withdrawals will be temporarily suspended.
Binance, a trusted platform for digital asset trading, has confirmed its commitment to supporting the network upgrade and hard fork of BNB Beacon Chain (BEP2) and BNB Smart Chain (BEP20), ensuring the best user experience. The goal is to improve the functionality and stability of these chains.
To facilitate wallet maintenance required for upgrades, Binance will temporarily suspend deposits and withdrawals for BNB Beacon Chain (BEP2) and BNB Smart Chain (BEP20) starting April 11, 2024 at 06:55 (UTC). The maintenance process is expected to take approximately one hour.
The BNB Beacon Chain (BEP2) network upgrade and hard fork is scheduled to occur at block height 373,526,985, or around 06:00 (UTC) on April 15, 2024. During this period, Binance will suspend token deposits and withdrawals on the BNB Beacon Chain (BEP2) network starting at approximately 05:50 (UTC).
Likewise, the BNB Smart Chain (BEP20) network upgrade and hard fork is scheduled to take place at 05:49 (UTC) on April 18, 2024. Token deposits and withdrawals on the BNB Smart Chain (BEP20) will be temporarily suspended from approximately 05:40 (UTC).
It is important to note that token trading on these networks is not affected by upgrades and hard forks. Binance handles all necessary technical requirements on behalf of users. Token deposits and withdrawals on the upgraded network will resume once the network is deemed stable.

Binance said it will continue to prioritize the security and smooth operation of its platform to ensure a stable and efficient trading experience for its users.
