Binance, one of the world’s leading cryptocurrency exchanges, announced support for Metal DAO (MTL) mainnet swap. According to Binance, all deposits and withdrawals of existing MTL tokens will be suspended from 02:00 (UTC) on June 24, 2024. This move is part of the transition to the new Metal DAO mainnet.
Impact on Users
Binance assured users that spot trading, margin trading, futures trading, and Binance Savings services will not be affected during the mainnet swap. The exchange will handle all technical requirements of users related to this event, ensuring a smooth transition.
Users are advised to ensure that previous MTL token transactions have been fully processed before the suspension begins. These precautions are necessary to avoid any inconveniences that may arise during the exchange period.
Highlights of Swap
- All existing MTL tokens will be exchanged for new MTL tokens at a 1:1 ratio.
- After the swap, deposits and withdrawals of existing MTL tokens are no longer supported.
