Binance, one of the world’s largest cryptocurrency exchanges, has announced that it will be performing wallet maintenance for BNB Smart Chain (BEP20) on September 5, 2024. According to Binance, the maintenance is expected to begin at 07:00 (UTC) and last approximately 2 hours.
Impact on deposits and withdrawals
To support this maintenance, Binance will suspend deposits and withdrawals on BNB Smart Chain (BEP20) starting from 06:55 (UTC) on the same day. Token trading on BNB Smart Chain will not be affected during this period. Binance assured users that all technical requirements will be handled on their behalf.
Service Resumption
Deposits and withdrawals will resume once the network is deemed stable after maintenance. Binance has stated that no further announcements will be made regarding the resumption of these services. Users are advised to plan their trading accordingly to avoid any inconvenience.
