Ethereum, the largest blockchain network for NFTs during this period and currently Bitcoin’s strongest market competitor, took first place today. In the last 24 hours, the collection of non-fungible tokens hosted on the Ethereum blockchain recorded $8.9 million in transaction sales.
Solana, a public open-source blockchain that supports smart contracts, including non-fungible tokens and a variety of decentralized applications, took third place in NFT sales today. In the last 24 hours, Solana NFTs recorded a trading volume of $7.3 million.
A collection of non-fungible tokens hosted on Polygon, an Ethereum scaling solutions blockchain network and potential threat to Bitcoin, currently ranks fourth in NFT sales. In the last 24 hours, the Polygon-powered NFT collection recorded $2.9 million in transaction sales. Polygon NFT sales surged 66% from the previous day.

$LIGO, a collection of non-fungible tokens created on the Bitcoin blockchain network using the BRC-20 protocol, is another NFT collection that has contributed to the exponential surge in Bitcoin NFT sales.
