Bitfinex has released version 7.2.0 of its mobile app, introducing a series of updates and optimizations aimed at improving user experience. According to blog.bitfinex.com, this latest update includes notable additions to the Fast Pay mobile app widget.
What’s new
The highlight of this update is the introduction of the Fast Pay widget, designed to streamline and expedite the in-app payment process. This addition is expected to improve the functionality of the app and provide more seamless interactions for users.

This update also brings several improvements, including the ability to reset widgets and the removal of onboarding screens to simplify user navigation. Additionally, new token icons for HMSTR, MANEKI, and EIGEN have been added along with POLM icons to complement the existing MATIC icons. Users can now sync chart settings from the web version to the mobile app to ensure consistency across platforms. Updated AAVE icons and inclusion of a new Lugano map further enhance the visual and functional appeal of the app.
bug fix
Bitfinex has addressed numerous bugs in this release, addressing issues affecting the user experience. Fixes include addressing balance issues while browsing the app, fixing email login tabs, and fixing issues with wallet ordering and currency search features. The update also fixes errors related to Fast Pay currency labels, borrowing currency type errors, and balance display inaccuracies. Additional fixes address interface inconsistencies such as incorrect background colors and payment button labels, and address an issue with truncated PnL images on Android devices.
Bitfinex encourages users to download the latest version of the app and provide feedback through reviews or participate in the Bitfinex Mobile User App Survey.
