BitGo, a prominent provider of Bitcoin wallet and custody solutions, has unveiled new enhancements to its platform by introducing Replace-By-Fee (RBF) integration, according to a press release sent to Bitcoin Magazine. This new feature is designed to speed up Bitcoin transaction processing, giving users greater flexibility and control over their transactions.
RBF allows users to replace ongoing transactions with higher fees, incentivizing miners to immediately confirm them on-chain. Available across BitGo’s various wallets, including hot wallet, eligible custody, and self-custodial Bitcoin wallet options, RBF integration is another big milestone in BitGo’s ongoing effort to provide advanced features to its users.
The introduction of RBF brings several benefits to Bitcoin users. First, it provides greater transaction flexibility, allowing users to dynamically adjust fees to accelerate confirmations, especially during periods of high network congestion. This increased flexibility contributes to a smoother and more efficient trading experience, allowing users to confidently navigate the complexities of the Bitcoin network.
As part of the RBF integration, BitGo users now have access to a variety of new features. This includes the ability to signal RBF on withdrawals, use RBF to accelerate stuck transactions with low fees, and view replacement details for transfers accelerated via RBF. Additionally, BitGo automatically signals RBF on internally managed transactions such as consolidations and fanouts for easy acceleration when needed.
The integration of RBF is consistent with BitGo’s commitment to providing users with the latest features. This improves transaction management capabilities and contributes to a smooth and efficient user experience. As RBF becomes increasingly standard in Bitcoin wallets, BitGo wants to lead the way in helping users navigate the complexities of the Bitcoin network with confidence and ease.
