Blender Cycles is integrated into Render Network’s private beta, bringing distributed GPU rendering to millions of artists. This is an important step in expanding Render’s multi-rendering capabilities.

Blender Cycles, the popular GPU ray tracing render engine, has officially entered closed beta on Render Network, according to Render Network. The goal of this integration is to enhance the capabilities of the leading open source 3D ecosystem by providing millions of artists with access to distributed GPU cloud rendering power.

Extended multi-rendering capabilities

The integration of Blender Cycles is part of a broader strategy to extend the multi-rendering capabilities of the render network. Earlier this year, the network introduced beta support for Maxon’s Redshift, complemented by native Cinema 4D file support and the newly released Render Network Cinema 4D Wizard. This addition allows Redshift and Octane Cinema 4D artists to seamlessly transfer scenes to the render network with a streamlined, artist-friendly workflow.

Now, with Redshift joining Render Network’s Octane, the platform provides a seamless experience for artists working within industry-leading GPU rendering pipelines. Network capabilities ensure a simplified production workflow for users.

Integrations and Features

The integration of Blender’s Cycles was showcased at Blender’s BCON Amsterdam event, highlighting collaboration between developers and creators within the Blender ecosystem. New integrations include the Render Network Blender Wizard, making it easy to export push buttons directly from Blender to the Render Network. This feature includes a scene checker to ensure compatibility and correct rendering across networks.

Artists and developers interested in participating in the closed beta can apply by completing a survey provided by Render Network. This initiative opens up new opportunities for artists to leverage powerful distributed rendering capabilities.

community involvement

Render Network encourages community participation and knowledge sharing through a variety of platforms, including Discord, Facebook, Github, LinkedIn, Reddit, Telegram, and X. Artists and developers can stay up-to-date on developments and participate in discussions through Twitter Spaces.

For more information about the Render Network and its features, interested parties should visit the official Render Network website.
