BNB Hackathon 2024 Q4 concluded at Web3 Development with innovative projects such as Paynova, Outrun, and Agentarcade. Discover winners and groundbreaking contributions.
BNB Hack 2024 Q4 has been labeled ‘The Ultimate Battle of Hacker Heroes’ as it showcases recent groundbreaking innovations in the Web3 space. According to Bnbchain, the event attracted over 200 applications, offering a significant prize pool in excess of $458,000. This hackathon provided a platform for the brightest minds in Web3 development, facilitating the creation of cutting-edge solutions.
The best innovations revealed
Out of 204 submissions, 10 projects advanced to the demo round and 3 won. First place of $15,000 was awarded to Paynova, a blockchain-based payroll platform that addresses global payroll inefficiencies. We provide businesses with a secure, automated and transparent payment solution that promises fast and cost-effective employee payments globally. Paynova plans to enhance its products with AI-based Payroll Agent and AI-based KYC in the future.
Autlun secured second place with $10,000 to advance the next generation of the Defi and Web3 ecosystem. Core modules such as Outsway, fflaunch, and Memeverse provide yield tokenization, liquid staking derivatives, decentralized exchanges, and memo-in staking. This comprehensive design aims to empower users and projects by promoting transparency, security, and sustainability.
Taking third place is Agentarcade, a decentralized AI agent launchpad on the BNB chain. It allows users to create and tokenize AI agents through a code-free interface. The platform supports building AI companions and social media influencers, providing creators with a fair launch mechanism and revenue share.
Driving innovation across Web3
The BNB Hack series, part of the BNB Chain initiative, aims to increase opportunities and visibility for builders. The hackathon encouraged unlimited creativity consistent with market trends and the strategic focus of the BNB Chain. Tracks include StableCoins, Defi, Telegram-based DAPPs, AI-driven applications, and more.
In addition to the top winners, projects like Rhythm Mural, Starbridge, and Doubtearn also featured notable innovations. Rhythm Mural combines music contests and blockchain transparency, while Starbridge seamlessly converts Telegram stars into cryptocurrencies. A blockchain-powered Q&A platform that encourages knowledge exchange with Suspicious Bounty Rewards.
Honorable Mention and Future Outlook
Several other projects received honorable mentions, including BNB Market, Quintus, and Chainchirp. The winner received a cash prize as well as a comprehensive $50,000 Kickstart package, including credits from AWS and Google Cloud. It is also considered a direct interview with the BNB Chain’s Most Valuable Builder (MVB) program.
The success of the event was boosted by sponsors such as Polyhedra Network, Dora Factory, and Tusd, who supported the Hackathon. Going forward, Milestone-focused rewards will provide the top six projects with up to $10,000 in additional incentives as they meet additional development goals.
