The BOUNCEBIT MAINET V1.6.1 introduces major architecture improvements that focus on performance, security and platform compatibility, improving the efficiency and robustness of the blockchain.
According to the BounceBit, the latest release of the BOUNCEBIT Mainnet version 1.6.1 offers significant architectural improvements aimed at improving performance, security and platform compatibility. This upgrade is set to optimize the efficiency and robustness of the blockchain.
EVM RPC Request Cash Pool
The main highlight of the V1.6.1 update is the EVM RPC request cache pool. This change deals with the previous bottleneck of request processing and greatly improves the cache hit rate. The new configuration minimizes redundant calculations to optimize memory use for a high demand period.
Storage layer modification
Another notable update is to remove EVMINDEXER.DB from the architecture. This modification reduces disk space requirements for node operators, simplifies the data access layer, and improves node synchronization efficiency by reducing I/O tasks during the status update.
Communication between components
Implementing UNIX socket support for communication between components will develop technology and reduce IPC overhead compared to previous HTTP -based communication methods. This change improves process isolation, reduces the waiting time of cross components, and improves system resources utilization.
Security update
The release also includes important security improvements. This includes integrating the latest security patches of Go-Eereum, implementing updated security protocols in Cocetbft/Cosmos, and updating the dependency version to solve potential vulnerabilities.
Platform optimization
Platform compatibility allows you to see significant improvements through this update, including complete support for Ubuntu 20.04 LTS. The DOCKER image size has been repeated in half half in half through the optimized multi -stage build and redundant dependency removal, and half of the redundancy is reduced through improved layer caching and improved compilation and connection processes.
Distribution notes
The network upgrade was successfully executed with the participation of 29 validation tests, maintaining network stability without interruption. Node operators recommend refer to the technical documentation for the detailed upgrade procedure.
Technical requirements
- The minimum hardware requirements have not been changed.
- Ubuntu 20.04 LTS and the latest versions are compatible.
- Docker Engine 20.10+ and GO version 1.19+ for source compilation.
Future development
BounceBit plans to focus on optimizing additional performance and expansion in the upcoming release. Node operators and developers are recommended to maintain updates through the Github repository for future development.
