BTC price fell below $42,000 and Coinbase (COIN) and miners plummeted as Bitcoin ETF mania suffered a crushing defeat.

Shares of cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase (COIN), which provides critical custody services to most ETF issuers, fell 7.4% on Friday. Bitcoin miners Marathon Digital (MARA), Hut 8 (HUT), and Riot Platforms (RIOT) all fell at least 10%. The marathon was the worst performer, down 15%.
