BTC price rises above $47,000 as spot Bitcoin ​ETF books one of its best days

The largest cryptocurrency by market capitalization soared to $47,699, the highest since the launch of the Bitcoin ETF, before falling to $46,700 due to rapid selling. Soon after, the price quickly rebounded to just over $47,000. At press time, BTC had risen 4.5% over the past 24 hours, outperforming the CoinDesk 20 Index (CD20), the largest cryptocurrency index, by 3.8%.
