BVBcoins is a fraudulent cryptocurrency trading and investment platform that appears to offer a variety of products but is actually a fake site designed to steal users’ cash.
The site claims to offer a cryptocurrency exchange with options and perpetual swaps along with other trading products, but in reality, none of these features exist.
These websites are in fact shells designed to mimic genuine exchanges and trick prospective investors into participating.
Victims of BVBcoins scams are often introduced to the platform by someone they recently met online, introducing them to cryptocurrency trading.
If victims deposit large amounts of cryptocurrency with promises of quick and easy returns, they will soon find their accounts blocked.
The scammer will then demand payment to release your funds, but any additional cash or cryptocurrency you may have sent will also be stolen.
How to spot a BVBcoins scam
This type of scam can be difficult to spot because the design of the platform is very similar to real cryptocurrency exchanges.
However, there are still many cases where people give up on it and it turns out to be a scam. These include:
- It’s a brand new domain name.
- There is no regulatory or licensing information about the platform.
- There is no information about the company or the team behind it.
- There is no official trading app.
- Lack of social media presence.
- There are no online reviews except for a scam warning.
- Much of the content contains grammatical errors.
- Poor quality design and graphics.
- Domain Authority (DA) of 1 – lowest possible.
It is clear that BVBcoins is 100% a scam and a platform to avoid.
I was scammed by BVBcoins. What should I do?
Unfortunately, it is very difficult to track your funds or secure your profits. However, it is important to report what happened to the authorities in your country.
There are also private companies that can help, as I wrote here.
