Venice, Florida, April 3, 2024, Chainwire

Byte Federal, a global financial technology leader, is proud to announce the official launch of ByteConnect, its point of sale (POS) system. This product launch marks a significant expansion of Byte Federal’s “fintech-focused” services and demonstrates its commitment to building a complete suite of financial tools for financial freedom.

Byte Federal co-founder and CTO Lennart Lopin expressed the vision behind the innovation: “Sound money is essential for creators and inventors and drives social progress. We are excited to introduce the world to Bitcoin, an important innovation that fosters freedom and freedom and encourages creativity in the global community.”

After a successful beta testing program, Byte Federal’s merchant POS system is now available in most of the United States. Additional merchant services are being offered in states where Byte Federal holds a Money Transmitter License (MTL), and operations will further expand as additional licenses are obtained.

The new merchant suite includes a comprehensive API, physical “portable” POS devices for retailers, and a variety of digital e-commerce solutions. Byte Federal is excited to participate in the next phase of Bitcoin adoption.

“There are a lot of people eager for new tools to trade without the shackles of the traditional financial system, and these are the tools we’re building,” said Michelle Weekley, director of product development at Byte Federal.

The launch of Byte Federal’s merchant POS system is not only a milestone for the company, but also a significant development in the global cryptocurrency landscape.

Kenneth Shortrede, Senior Software Engineer at Byte Federal, commented on the global impact: “The need for a better system was highlighted after we identified the challenges faced by Argentine merchants, from inflation to traditional payment issues like delays and high fees. Our solutions will enable merchants to transact globally faster and cheaper.”

Headquartered in Florida, Byte Federal has a dedicated team that provides expert integration support to merchants looking to expand their payment options.
