Canaan Inc. (NASDAQ: CAN), a prominent provider of high-performance computing solutions, announced a bulk order for the Avalon A1566I miner from new customer CleanSpark Inc. Under the purchase agreement, Canaan US Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Canaan Inc., will supply 3800 Avalon A1566I immersion cooled miner units to CleanSpark. With an average compute performance of 249 terahashes per second (TH/s) without overclocking, the miner is scheduled to ship in the fourth quarter of 2024. This move achieves high efficiency and strategic land acquisition.
