Conflux (CFX) shows V2.5.0-Test Net Hardfork and urges node operators to upgrade before March 3 to avoid protocol compatibility. Upgrades include important security modifications.
CLUX (CFX), a blockchain network known as an innovative approach to scalability and security, announced that it has been greatly upgraded with the launch of V2.5.0-Test Net. According to Curlux Forum, this hard fork will occur before the network reaches the EPOCH number 208160000, which is estimated on March 3, 2025.
Security modification and upgrade details
V2.5.0-Testnet Release emphasizes the importance of solving important security issues and upgrading all node operators quickly. In the upgrade process, replace the current ‘Collux.exe’ file with a new version provided in the V2.5.0-Testnet package and then restart the node. It is recommended that the operator will complete this upgrade in two days to ensure smooth network participation.
Implications of upgrade delays
The operator who cannot upgrade before the specified Epoque will face the need to delete the existing data and restart the node. If the upgrade is delayed, the updated Corlux protocol and node cannot be compatible, allowing them to disable major functions such as block synchronization and mining.
