CoreWeave, a leader in AI cloud solutions, announced the appointment of Karen Boone as an independent member of its Board of Directors. Boone, a seasoned executive, will bring extensive experience in financial management and corporate governance to the role starting in January 2025, according to CoreWeave.
Boone’s extensive experience
Karen Boone’s career is marked by holding significant leadership roles in major corporations. She most recently served as Interim Co-CEO and Co-President of Peloton Interactive, Inc., a Fortune 500 company. His tenure at Peloton included roles such as Chairman of the Board and Chairman of the Audit Committee from January 2019 to May 2024. Prior to Peloton, Boone was President and Chief Financial and Controlling Officer of Restoration Hardware, Inc., and spent 15 years at Deloitte & Touche LLP, where he rose to the position of Audit Partner.
Boone also owns Sonos, Inc., along with several private companies. and Rivian Automotive, Inc., among other prominent companies. Her extensive background with leading companies through significant growth phases is expected to be invaluable to CoreWeave as it continues to expand its capabilities in AI-driven cloud solutions.

CoreWeave co-founder and CEO Mike Intrator expressed confidence in Boone’s ability to contribute to the company’s strategic direction. “Karen’s executive leadership skills and financial acumen will strengthen our board and further support our mission to deliver the most advanced AI managed cloud solutions in the industry,” Intrator said.
