Korea encryption Exchange Upbit has published a new listing of Altcoin, a wallet -centered Altcoin, causing explosive price action.
According to the new announcement, UPBIT has supported WCT (WALLET Connect) for transactions through optimism (OP) networks on the platform from Wednesday.
The project, which started in 2018, is a Web3 COMMUNICATIONS COMMUNICATIONS COMMUNICATIONS COMMUNICATIONS that aims to connect the password wallet to a distributed application (DApp) by encrypted using QR code scan and deep links.
“Traditionally, a complex step was needed to connect the wallet to the app in the blockchain, which often discouraged new users and created a fragmentary ecosystem. WalletConnect simplifies this by providing a universal connection method compatible with hundreds of wallets and thousands of apps.”
WCT is the default token of WalletConnect network used for Stacking, Rewards, fees and governance.
The initial supply of WCT tokens is limited to 1 billion, the core development is 7%, 17.5%for stage King and performance compensation, 18.5%for air drops, 18.5%for team members, 11.5%for initial sponsors, and 27%for WalletConnect Foundation.
Following the UPBIT announcement, WCT increased by more than 121% from Tuesday’s $ 0.28 to $ 0.62 on Wednesday.
The WCT has retreated since then, has been trading at $ 0.42 for writing, and increased 34.6% per day.
The market cap is $ 71.3 million, and the WCT is the 482th largest encryption project.
