Da1as, also known as C-Finance, is a poorly designed and fraudulent cryptocurrency trading platform that has been used to trick unsuspecting investors out of their cash.
Victims of this scam are typically introduced to the platform by someone they recently met on social media and in whom they have expressed romantic interest.
Da1as runs as a platform and DApp that allows victims to connect through many legitimate cryptocurrency services and wallet apps.
When victims invest funds on the platform, profits may appear added to their account balance.
However, when you try to withdraw your funds, your funds will be blocked and you will have to pay a hefty fee to ensure your funds are withdrawn.
However, if you pay the fee, more demands will follow and the money will not be returned to them at any point.
This platform is extremely rudimentary and does not provide any of the regulatory, company or licensing information that legitimate cryptocurrency investment platforms do.
There are also many other problems, including no social media apps, no business address or proper contact information, poor design, and grammatically incorrect passages of text.
This is definitely a platform to avoid.
I lost my money to Da1as (C-Finance) scam. Can I get it back?
Like many other cryptocurrency scams, Da1as is set to operate for several months before disappearing along with the victims’ funds.
It’s important to report scams like this to the authorities as soon as you know what’s going on.
However, it can be very difficult to get your money back, so you need to be realistic about your chances of getting it back.
There are also private companies that can help, as I wrote here.
