Now that the first-ever on-chain Devcon ticket distribution is over, it’s time to talk about ticket distribution for all attendees!
First, we would like to say a sincere “Thank You” to everyone who participated in the first pilot round of Onchain DevCon ticketing. Thanks to your support, we feel confident in our code and are exploring the possibility of expanding these systems in the future.
In the lottery/auction process, the contract got the job done and Ethereum users had a blast! In the auction round, all bid disclosures were completed with two days remaining.
Attendees, if your contact information is not on file, please read it carefully as it will be used as a guide to attending Devcon!
Everyone who participates in the raffle and auction will receive a non-fungible ERC-721 token (NFT) to the address used for the on-chain sale. If you need help or technical support with NFTs, please contact us. support@ethereum.org.
Visit EtherCards.Devcon.org. Log in with the same address you used to participate in the on-chain sale here.
Once you log in and your NFT is verified, you will find a generated QR code that will serve as your Devcon ticket.
Be sure to screenshot and/or print this QR code for quick entry.
Attendees must exchange NFTs for tickets in advance. If any issues arise, Devcon registered staff and volunteers will be on site to help complete the process if necessary.
Stay tuned for more information on the venue, schedule, speaker list, location information, and more. @EFDevcon, devcon.organd Blog.ethereum.org.
Lastly, we would like to thank the Ether.cards team again for making this year’s on-chain raffle and auction possible.
