Today we announce good news. Return of the Devcon Scholars Program, an EF initiative aimed at helping important Ethereum builders struggle to attend Devcon. Read below to find out if the Devcon Scholars program is right for you and to get information on how to apply.
We are also excited to announce our first event taking place at Devcon in Bogotá. We made Devcon a full conference, not just a four-day conference. Devcon Week experience.
Devcon Week It consists of Ethereum-related events held during the official conference period from October 11th to 14th. Paying tribute to Devconnect’s decentralized organization, Devcon Week It starts with the EthGlobal hackathon and ends with a community collaboration space and features events such as Schellingpoint and ETH Latam Day. Devcon Scholars Program Returns
We are excited to announce the return of the Devcon Scholars program!
If attending Devcon VI could make a difference to the future of Ethereum, but you can’t attend due to cost concerns, Please apply for the scholarship program Between today and August 1st.
Devcon is the best place for developers and collaborators, and it’s also an opportunity to engage new faces, places, and the entire community. However, some important builders of the Ethereum ecosystem face obstacles (financial or otherwise) to attending Devcon.
Devcon Scholars Program We offer our full support to make Devcon more accessible to 50 individuals who have the potential to make a significant impact on Ethereum and its community, but who would not be able to attend without financial or other support. Scholars will receive funding for Devcon tickets, transportation, accommodation, per diem and visa applications. Leading up to Devcon Devcon WeekThere will be online and offline meetings for scholars to get to know each other, learn, and prepare for the best experience in Bogotá, Colombia.

The Devcon Scholars program is for you if you think attending Devcon will make a difference to the future of Ethereum. We want Devcon Bogotá to be a hub for Ethereum innovation, and that requires having the most talented builders in our ecosystem there, regardless of their circumstances.
Whether you are a builder, entrepreneur, community organizer, journalist, teacher, researcher, or student, if you think participating in Devcon will make a difference to the future of Ethereum, please let us know how you plan to take advantage of the opportunity: write this application.
