Ether Lee’s core developer focuses on improving scalability and user experience with PECTRA upgrades, fusaka tests and GlamsterDam update plans.
Ether Lee’s core development team continues to develop into a significant upgrade to improve the platform’s expansion and user experience. In the latest ‘Checkpoint’ update of Ethereum Foundation, developers emphasized the successful implementation of the PECTRA upgrade and provided insight into the future updates, Fusaka and GlamsterDam.
PECTRA implementation
Gently released PECTRA upgrades have introduced some improvements, including significant unlocks for steaking quality improvement and wallet user experience. According to the Ethereum Foundation, these updates can now be used to use the application layer, so staying and wallet providers can adopt new standards such as MAXEB and EIP-7702.
Fusaka test
The upgrade of the upgrade focuses on activating the important scaling function, PEERDAS. The test for fusaka was recently completed with the recent completion of the seventh Devnet. The first multi -function fusaka devnet has been released and additional tests are scheduled for the Berlin block chain week. Developers are testing the BPO (Blob Parameter Only) fork, especially for dynamic blobs, which are important for L2 scaling.
In addition, gas restriction tests are underway. The 60 million gas limit is safe for fusaka. This adjustment does not require a hard fork, so the validity test may make an independent decision, which can increase the default gas limit in the client software.
Glam Study Plan
In the future, Etherrium developers are preparing for the 2026 Glam Starsdam upgrade. The initial discussion begins and focuses on potential headline functions such as EPBS and FOCIL. The proposal will be accepted until June 20 and will be further discussion and finalization throughout the summer.
The timeline of Glamsterdam includes various stages for proposals and decisions, guaranteeing a comprehensive and community -centered development process.
Additional development
History expiration was introduced in SEPOLIA Testnet, and it is expected to be released on the main net after fully tested. This feature, which was originally configured, eventually becomes part of the default client software settings. Developers and users can track the progress through the ETH R & D Discord channel.
According to the ACDT (All Core Devs Testing) banner, process changes are being implemented to simplify the upgrade test discussion scheduled for Monday calls. These adjustments aim to accelerate the upgrade process, and more changes are expected in the Berlin block chain week.
Ether Lee’s development team is trying to maintain Fusaka’s lean approach with the goal of upgrading in 2025. In progress, the process adjustment emphasizes the challenges of distributed governance, but reflects the active approach to improving the development cycle of Ether Leeum.
