Coinbase Director Conor Grogan speculated that Crypto Exchange Krake and CEO could have the true identity of Nakamoto, the ambiguous producer of Bitcoin (BTC).
His opinion comes after Arkham Intelligence adds a tracking to Bitcoin Holdings in Satoshi, Nacamoto.
Kraken and Nakamoto Satoshi: Hidden connection?
According to a blockchain analysis company, a total of 1,096,354 tokens in Satoshi’s known Bitcoin Holdings amounted to $ 10.7 billion at the current price.
Satoshi also distributed BTC trobes to more than 22,000 wallet addresses. This includes the only known address that Satoshi consumes BTC. In particular, Arkham identified these addresses in the Patoshi pattern.
In the context, Patoshi pattern refers to a distinct mining pattern identified in the initial Bitcoin block chain, and many people think they are connected to the creator of Bitcoin.
Coinbase’s supervision investigated Nakamoto Satoshi’s wallet activities and shared his results in the thread of previous Twitter. He mentioned that this wallet could not be connected to Satoshi, but evidence strongly suggests that they belong to Bitcoin’s creators.
Grogan said, “This study is pointed out that Satoshi, which owns 1,096 million BTCs, is worth about $ 180 million, making it more rich on paper than Bill Gates.
He suggested that Nakamoto lasted the last Bitcoin on-chain in 2014. Interestingly, Grogan’s analysis discovered evidence of Krake with knowledge of Nakamoto Satoshi.
Grogan found 24 out bound transactions at Satoshi connection address. The most notable destination is the wallet of 1pyyj, which is said to have received BTC from the current Canadian cryptocurrency exchange, Cavirtex.
“I think this is the first documented document between Satoshi linked wallet and CEX,” he said.
This means that Satoshi can leave digital footprints by interacting with centralized exchange. Historically, Nakamoto remained very careful about privacy and noted links to regulators.
In 2016, Kraken acquired Cavirtex. Grogan thus speculated that Kraken’s CEO, Jesse Powell, would know the true identity of Satoshi. Nevertheless, this depends on whether this wallet has a customer (KYC) record.
Grogan said, “My advice is to delete data.
That’s not everything. The 1pyyj address seems to be related to the 12ib’s funds. This Bitcoin address is one of the biggest active addresses that contain more than $ 3 billion in BTC.
This strengthens the theory that 1pyyj was controlled by Satoshi or initial Bitcoin adoptors and controllers.
Furthermore, Grogan pointed out that the 500 BTC sent to 1pyyj in 2010 pointed out the possibility of paying other parties, and the potentially documented Satoshi-Aera Bitcoin transaction could be released.
In response to Grogan’s claim, Krake posted a secret tweet.
“We are all Satoshi.”
This does not confirm the knowledge of the identity of Krake’s Nakamoto, but questions whether EXCHANGE has information to solve the biggest mystery of Bitcoin.
Previously, Craig Light I claimed to be the creator of Bitcoin. But the court legally dismissed his claim. HBO’s documentary, meanwhile, explored the possibility of Nakamoto, a key Bitcoin developer, Peter Todd.
In October 2024, the London press conference was the creator of Bitcoin, with Stephen Mollah.
