Launched in October 2021, Doodles is an NFT collection featuring a limited edition of 10,000 generative NFTs created by Evan Keast, Scott Martin, Jordan Castro, and Burnt Toast. The Doodles NFT ecosystem is home to humans, cats, pickles, apes, sentient flames, skeletons, aliens, and more.
Since its inception, Doodles has become one of the most prominent Ethereum NFT projects on social media, with a striking, colorful profile photo (PFP) and has grown in trading volume by over $550 million. Over the past few years, Doodles has brought notable changes to its ecosystem.
Early last year, Doodles announced plans to transition from a non-fungible token project into a media franchise. Co-founder Jordan Castro, popularly known online as Poopie, said in a statement posted on the Doodles Discord that the company will move away from the NFT marketplace and begin building new features and products.
