Regs update
Since Trump took office, we are eagerly waiting for the new clarity of the US encryption innovation. The Chairman of the Action is in place in both the Mark Uyeda (Mark Uyeda) and the Commodity Future Trading Commission (CFTC). Yesterday, the SEC was created with a new encryption task force and led by an experienced Hester Peirce.
We are excited because we met all these commissioners at a meeting established by Digital Chamber of Commerce. We will soon have more.

EU
After many preparations, at the end of December 2024, the new European Cryptographic Regulatory Framework (MICA) was effective. The MICA regulations provide clarity for encryption service providers and related companies operated in Europe. Unfortunately, this additional red tape is applied when the US encryption market is finally held. This suggests a few people who are willing to invest in time, interest, or money to use the European encryption market, which is being developed by US companies. It will be interesting to see how the MICA evolves in the US market momentum in 2025. Vault12 will keep an eye on this.
uk
Meanwhile, the British FCA (Financial Action Authority) regulatory agency has published a new debate as part of its encryption regulatory roadmap. As with the MICA so far, it brings more burdens, including more re -creation of the wheel, to a company with little efficiency or at all. Vault12 will be part of the industry expert group mentioned about the FCA’s proposal through Cryptouk and will provide constructive feedback.
It is virtually impossible for a US startup company to continue its operations in the UK, while the regulatory agency of the Crypto company, which combines with tremendous documents and time burdens, continues to develop. The regulations suggest that as if the US is encrypting by Horns, the company will respond to the UK until it responds with an efficient regulation suitable for entrepreneurs and supports innovation in this space. Especially sad, this regulatory attitude is conflicting with the government as well as the previous British government. British are better qualified.

Industry news
Last month, a lot of round -ups and predictions were seen in 2025, but the biggest news is that the US cryptocurrency industry is now enthusiastic for business as of January 20, 2025.
In other news of 2024, after a huge delay, we finally saw the new director STAX wallet to customers and was busy through the speed in a series of comparison articles. The “Net” of our evaluation emphasizes that having a hardware wallet does not mean that assets are backed up and inheritance to future generations. You must process it separately (thankfully Vault12 is here to help you).
