Ether Liium focuses on strengthening blockchain security with major EIP competition in PECTRA audit in Cantina. The event will be held from February 21 to March 24.
The Etther Reeum Foundation announced the beginning of PECTRA AUDIT COMPETITION in the initiative, which aims to strengthen blockchain security. According to the Ether Leeum blog, this month’s event, which runs from February 21 to March 24, invites the security community.
Why PECTRA is important
PECTRA greatly improves the Etherrium infrastructure by implementing the implementation of several Etherrium improvement proposals (EIP). The core of these is the EIP-7702, which upgrades the external ownership account (EOA) with the smart contract function to provide benefits such as trading, gas sponsorship, alternative authentication, expenditure control and enhanced recovery mechanism.
Improvement of the validation test machine UX
Some EIPs are aimed at improving the user experience of the validity test. The EIP-7251 increases the maximum validity test device balance from 32 ETH to 2048 ETH, facilitating the integration of automatic compensation complexes and validation inspection machines. The EIP-7002 allows the Ether Leeum address to trigger the end of the validation instrument and rely on the validic examination key. In addition, the EIP-6110 reduces the deposit processing time from about 9 hours to 13 minutes.
Blove scaling and future improvement
EIP-7691 covers Blob Scaling by increasing Ethereum’s BLOB capacity by 50%. This is important for tier 2 evidence and significantly reduces the hierarchy. Future improvement will focus on data sampling technology to optimize storage requirements.
Gratitude
Thanksgiving competition is especially for PECTRA code. Discovery that is not related to PECTRA should be reported through the Bounty Program of Ethereum Foundation. This focus is to identify potential problems before the main net hard fork.
Recent Security Initiative
The recent conclusion of Immunefi has shown a community promise on blockchain security. Supported by major ecosystems, such as BYBIT, WORMHOLE, and Arbitrum Foundation, this event emphasized collective efforts for flexible blockchain infrastructure.
Participants who are interested in PECTRA AUDIT Competition can start their trip on the competition page of Cantina. To report vulnerability other than competition, the Bug BOUNTY program of Ethereum Foundation is still available.
