The Ethereum Foundation has released a comprehensive update on Devcon 2024, which will take place in Bangkok from November 12-15. The event is expected to be a major gathering for the Ethereum community and will feature ticket sales, speaker sign-up, and a variety of ways to get involved, according to the Ethereum Foundation blog.
Ticket sales have begun
Devcon 2024 tickets are on sale now. The Ethereum Foundation offers several discounts for builders and local attendees. Ethereum contributors can also claim their own claimable discounts by verifying their Ethereum address or GitHub username. Winners can also claim their tickets through a raffle auction that ends on July 9th, with general admission tickets being released in waves starting on July 16th, with no ID required to ensure anonymity.
We are accepting applications for speakers
Applications are now open for those who wish to speak at Devcon SEA. The deadline for speaker applications is July 30th, with initial approvals being sent out by the end of August. The Ethereum Foundation is particularly interested in educational talks on topics related to Ethereum across 10 programming tracks, including Core Protocol, Cypherpunk, and Privacy, Usability, etc.
Volunteer Opportunities
Volunteering at Devcon offers a unique opportunity to become deeply involved in the Ethereum community. Volunteers provide support during the event, collaborate with the Devcon team, and build valuable connections. We are currently accepting applications for volunteer positions.

Community members are encouraged to submit Devcon Improvement Proposals (DIPs) to suggest improvements to the event and to suggest Ethereum open source projects for dogfooding. This initiative aims to improve the event experience for all attendees by leveraging Ethereum technology.
On the way to Devcon
