In fact, the core idea of ERC-404 is to make it easier to split, divide ownership, and improve liquidity when trading non-fungible tokens (NFTs). There might actually be something to the idea. ERC-404 combines two existing token standards, ERC-20 and ERC-721, used to create regular Ethereum-based tokens and NFTs respectively, to create a “semi-fungible” token.
