Ethereum.org emphasizes the introduction of community events such as 2024, major upgrades, Devcon Sea in 2024, and the introduction of ETHGLOSSARY.
Ethereum.org summarizes the achievements of 2024 and marks one year with considerable development and community -oriented initiative. According to Ethereum.org, the Ether Leeum community is preparing for a busy 2025, and the Ether Leeum community is taking a while for the milestones that reached last year.
Main upgrades and initiatives
The Cancun-Deneb network upgrade, also known as Dencun, was a prominent achievement. To solve community inquiries about upgrades, Ethereum.org started a comprehensive FAQ page to enhance the protocol roadmap.
Another notable initiative was Translatathon, a translation contest for expanding content, not Ether Lee’s English. The event has seen that 327 participants translate 2.5 million words in more than 700,000 languages supported by 12 direct translation hubs worldwide.
Technology development
To improve the website performance, Ethereum.org switched the UI library to Shadcn. This migration matches the promise of the community for accessibility and performance.
Ethereum.org also updates the tier 2 content to provide users with detailed initiative -friendly information on the scaling solution. This update reflects the importance of Layer 2 in Etherum Ecosystem.
Community participation
As you can see in Devcon Sea, where Ethereum.org participated with more than 400 visitors, community interaction was a priority. The contributor’s approval program has recognized community efforts through more than 800 badges with donations of various categories.
The platform also participates in Hacktoberfest 2024, encouraging open source donations and receiving more than 40 full requests from 20 contributors.
Innovative tools and functions
Ethglossary was introduced as part of Translatheon and game translation of Ethereum terminology. This initiative has resulted in nearly 7,000 translations across 40 languages, which helped to build a comprehensive term for Etherrium terms worldwide.
Ethereum.org also hosted numerous community events that improve community learning and participation, including 38 discord sessions, from working hours to community calls.
I am looking for it in the future
In 2025, Ethereum.org plans to adopt a Shape Up methodology for the development cycle with a focus on shipping and initiatives for eight weeks. This approach aims to simplify project management and improve productivity.
Ethereum.org’s commitment to community -centered development is still strong and there are many opportunities to contribute to content production, design and translation.
