EverReach Labs announced that REVENGE, its groundbreaking player-versus-environment (PvE) cooperative extraction shooter, will be developed on the Immutable (IMX) blockchain platform. According to immutable.com, the collaboration aims to redefine the gaming experience by transforming spectators into active participants.
Revolutionize game mechanics
Created by industry veterans who have worked on popular titles such as Far Cry 3, Rainbow Six Siege, and Fortnite, REVENGE introduces unique game mechanics that allow spectators to actively influence the game. This innovative concept allows viewers to modify the environment, delete upgrades, and trigger events to change the course of each match.
Interactive Gameplay Mode
REVENGE offers players three unique roles:
- Raiders: Participate directly in frontline battles.
- guide: Provides tactical support from strategic vantage points.
- Oracle: A spectator who wields the power to greatly influence the outcome of the game.
Empower players with asset ownership
The game leverages Immutable’s zkEVM technology to ensure true ownership of in-game assets. Players can customize their weapons, trade mods with others, and build their ideal loadout, with each upgrade and mod being unique.
“Our partnership with Immutable strengthens REVENGE by enhancing player-spectator interaction, providing secure asset ownership, and delivering a seamless experience for players,” said Nicolas Bougartchev, co-founder and CEO of EverReach Labs.
anticipate release
REVENGE is scheduled to enter pre-alpha stage in the first quarter of 2025. Development will be accelerated through collaboration with Magic Media. Enthusiasts who want to experience the next evolution of gaming can wishlist this game from Epic Games.
This collaboration between EverReach Labs and Immutable is poised to usher in a new era of interactive gaming where the lines between players and spectators are blurred, creating more immersive and engaging experiences.
