According to Gala News, Gala Games is launching a new weekly competition for their popular game Common Ground World, offering $GALA prizes to those who make it to the top of the leaderboard. The competition will begin on Tuesday, August 6 at 10 a.m. PST and end on Friday, August 9 at 10 a.m. PST.

If you haven’t played Common Ground World yet, now is a great time to get involved. Each week, players from around the world compete for three days with a unique meta-rule. The goal is to build an efficient village that produces and sells the right goods faster than the competition to get a spot on the leaderboard.
Players can enhance their gameplay by using owned NFT items that provide strategic advantages. These NFTs allow for faster and more flexible gameplay, and since players actually own these items, they can sell them on the secondary market at any time.
Town Hall this Friday
Gala Games will be hosting a live town hall on their YouTube channel this Friday at 8am PT. These bi-weekly sessions are a great opportunity for players to get updates and learn about new opportunities in the game. Replays of previous town halls will also be available.
