GalaSwap, GalaChain’s decentralized exchange, has announced a series of updates to improve functionality and user experience, according to Gala News. These updates include Mr. Includes the introduction of an open-source swap bot called Swappy, several quality-of-life improvements, and various bug fixes.
GalaSwap Automation
The highlight of the recent update is Mr. This is the introduction of Swappy. This bot has two basic strategies: Swap Acceptor, which identifies and accepts swaps offered at better prices than the market price, and Swap Creator, which creates liquidity by automatically creating swaps at specified prices. Users can add new strategies using TypeScript and debug in embedded mode.
The bot is designed to be a powerful tool for advanced users, but Gala News advises caution for those without software or code editing experience. Detailed documentation to help users set up and operate Mr. Swappy is available on the GitHub repository.
Improving quality of life
In addition to the swap bot, GalaSwap has introduced several quality of life updates.
- A basic search function on the balance page to easily find specific tokens.
- “Maximum” button to list the maximum amount of tokens in the swap offer.
- Mr. Swappy now supports user-generated tokens.
- Updated token name blacklist to be less restrictive.

The latest update also focuses on bug fixes.
- Users can now see all active offers, regardless of their quantity.
- You can now see your mint allowance even if your token balance is 0.
Other updates
Additional improvements include:
- Added token permissions to Gala for REPS tokens.
- Mr. Swappy’s code has been moved to its own directory on the GalaChain GitHub page.
- Increment limit for swap creation is set to 1.
Future improvements
GalaSwap is also working on future updates, such as group distribution via Project Token Creator and improved search functionality for creating and finding swaps. These improvements aim to further streamline the user experience and expand the usability of the platform.
