Oasys (not to be confused with Oasis) is a combination of a layer 1 blockchain and an Ethereum-compatible optimistic rollup-based layer 2 scaling solution. Individual games may launch their own versions, or “Verse”, to utilize the architecture.

Oasis announced that it will collaborate with Com2uS, a Korean game developer known for video game titles such as action and strategy RPG ‘The Walking Dead: All Stars’ and ‘Summoners War: Chronicles’. Com2uS also has a Web3 business subsidiary called XPLA.

These games will be moving to Oasys and join other titles from other game developers, such as DoubleJump Tokyo’s My Crypto Heroes, a pixel-style NFT fantasy game that has seen more than 33 million transactions across more than 684,000 cryptocurrency wallets.

Com2uS claims to be the first game studio and publishing company to develop mobile games in Korea and is already participating in Oasis as a validator. That “Verse” is called the XPLA Verse.

“Oasis’ core values stem from our vision of serving as a gaming-centric blockchain that provides the best solutions for gaming companies,” said Dominic Zhang, who leads the company’s business development and Korea initiatives. . We are also confident that our collaboration will lead to the innovative gaming experiences players deserve.”

Through this partnership, we will also enter the Japanese market.

XPLA team leader Paul Kim said, “Our partnership with Oasys will allow XPLA to make a significant leap into Japan, the world’s third largest gaming market. We will launch two major Web3 games based on globally recognized IP within the first half of this year. “I plan to do it,” he added. . “We plan to capture the Japanese gamer community of 55 million people.”

The partnership will help Com2uS “navigate and comply with local regulatory requirements in Japan.”

After the peak, the price of OAS stabilized at $0.1299 at the time of writing.
