Infinity Reels are a fairly new mechanic from High 5 Games. The company first debuted the feature in 2023’s Shadow of the Panther: Infinity. At its simplest, the mechanism adds additional reels to the slot, making the slot increasingly longer as the spins progress. The reels reset after each spin. But High 5 Games is not an innovator in mechanics. Reelplay created it and licensed it to the likes of Relax Gaming, 4ThePlayer, and now High 5 Games.
Now, the story behind the Golden Knight. Similar to the other slots I reviewed this weekend, the sequel to the last Golden Knight slot has been a long time coming. High 5 Games released the first game in the series in 2014. Golden Knight II was released two years later in 2016. Now, after an eight-year hiatus, the company has decided to revisit the series with its latest game. Released, Golden Knight Infinity Slot.
Was it worth making a sequel?
The party part of the slot is the infinitely expanding reels. The 3-reel slot expands by 1 reel when a winning combination is completed. When symbols from additional reels are added to a winning combination, a new reel appears and the process repeats until no additional symbols are added to the winning combination. However, if the starting winning combination does not contain symbols on the third reel, no additional reels are added. This is because there is no way to add an extra reel to a winning combination, and as a result the extra reels are meaningless.

This mechanism can potentially generate wins of 10, 20, or even hundreds of symbol lengths, so the paytable obviously cannot provide analysis of all possible combinations. As a result, the slot’s paytable provides payout values based on bets on five symbols and then a set value for each additional symbol added.

If you bet at that base level, a max multiplier of 4,081x will net you just under $408.10 per spin. The slot offers medium volatility and an RTP of 96%.
A few weeks ago, I was looking at three crossovers in a parking lot. One was a Lexus, another was a Hyundai, and the third was a Suzuki product. We know that not everyone can be Nolimit City, but there has to be a middle ground. There is nothing wrong with Golden Knight Infinity slot. I’m not sure how to rate a slot that offers a similar gameplay experience to many other slots.
