HKMA strongly advises individuals who interact with suspicious messages or websites to take immediate action. If personal information or account credentials have been provided, it is important to contact the relevant Stored Value Facility (SVF) licensee immediately. In addition, affected individuals should report the incident to the police or contact the police’s Anti-Fraud Coordination Centre on 18222.
