A MixMob representative confirmed to Decrypt’s GG that the game studio cannot use the Star Wars brand, and that in this case the deal is limited to armor designs from “A New Hope.”
Still, it’s a memorable entry from a major pop culture franchise featured in an NFT game that aims to deliver a taste of ‘remix culture’, and the studio says it plans to bring other licensed characters and content to MixMob for mobile versions. .
