The first Worms game was released in 1995 on the Saga Mega Drive, PlayStation, Game Boy, and Atari Jaguar. It was the MS-Dos version that made me wake up at dawn and play with my brothers. We loved it. We played that game for hours until our parents kicked us out of the house. So when I saw that AvatarUX was releasing a modified version of the game, I was immediately interested.
Worms of Valor slot takes a melee approach that sets it apart from the actual Worms games, and I’m here for it.
fight!
Worms of Valor slot has an interesting variation on cascading reels. Once a winning symbol combination is formed, the associated symbols are removed, allowing new symbols to fill the empty spots. When this happens, the reels expand row by row, showing symbols associated with winning combinations.

Aside from the expansion reels, another standout bonus feature is ZapReels, which are superior to the standard reels. ZapReel effectively acts as another reel in the slot, marked with symbols that either contribute to winning combinations or are used to form winning combinations on their own.
What’s unique about the reels is that they generate bonus features. In the base game, wild and prize symbols may appear on the ZapReel. During the free spins round, wilds, prizes, multipops and reel unlock symbols may appear on ZapReel.

The slot’s free spins feature is triggered by a three, four or five bonus system. Once triggered, the height of the reels will be set to the height of the shortest reel of the spin on which the feature originated. Additionally, the reels will not reset during the free spins round and will continue to expand until fully unlocked. If this happens, you will be awarded two additional free spins. The free spins feature also includes a global multiplier value that continues to increase throughout the round and applies to all winning combinations that appear during the round.
Is the Worms of Valor slot nostalgic or not?
The Worms of Valor slot offers a multiplier of up to 10,000x, meaning you could win up to $200,000 when you bet $20 per spin. The large multiplier potential gives you the chance to score impressive wins even if you bet close to the $0.20 minimum per spin. This slot offers high volatility and an RTP of 96%.
I don’t know if I can judge this part fairly. Playing games brought back memories of hours of fun playing Worms and gave me a rush of dopamine. That means everything is on paper. Great graphics, exciting gameplay, attractive bonus features, and decent max multipliers. I might have preferred a medium level of volatility to balance out the gameplay, but you can’t have everything. So overall, I would give this piece a 9 out of 10.
If you’re looking for a few other AvatarUX slots I recommend, try Donkey, The GOATS, and KokeshiPop.
