Indian cloud providers and manufacturers, including Yotta and Tata, are expanding their AI infrastructure with NVIDIA technology with the goal of driving economic growth and innovation.

India is witnessing significant changes in its technology landscape as prominent cloud infrastructure providers and server manufacturers such as Yotta Data Services and Tata Communications expand their AI capabilities. According to the NVIDIA blog, this effort is part of a broader initiative to improve NVIDIA acceleration infrastructure nationwide.

AI Factories: A Catalyst for Economic Growth

NVIDIA GPU deployments in India are set to increase nearly tenfold by the end of the year. This expansion aims to support large enterprises, startups, and research centers running AI workloads. The plan is expected to provide approximately 180 exaflops of computing power, significantly boosting sectors such as healthcare, financial services, and digital content creation.

Yotta leads the way with Shakti Cloud.

Yotta Data Services is at the forefront of this change, providing managed cloud services through its Shakti Cloud platform. The platform is designed to drive generative AI adoption and education based on NVIDIA Hopper GPUs and NVIDIA AI Enterprise software. This initiative aims to make AI more accessible to a variety of industries by removing common barriers to AI adoption.

Yotta’s customers, including Sarvam AI and Zoho Corporation, are leveraging these resources to build AI models for Indian and enterprise applications. The platform supports a wide range of applications, from biomolecule generation to language processing.

Tata Communications: Pioneering AI Infrastructure

Tata Communications is deploying NVIDIA Hopper GPUs to power its public cloud infrastructure to support a variety of AI applications across industries such as manufacturing, healthcare, and banking. The company plans to expand its products to include NVIDIA Blackwell GPUs to further advance its AI capabilities.

Tata Communications aims to integrate NVIDIA’s accelerated computing infrastructure with its global network to create a future-proof platform that drives AI innovation across sectors.

E2E Network: Expanding Cloud Capabilities

E2E Networks is expanding its cloud infrastructure to support high-volume computing workloads such as simulations and real-time AI inference. The company provides access to clusters featuring NVIDIA Hopper GPUs to help companies efficiently develop custom AI models.

Clients like AI4Bharat and Qure.ai are leveraging E2E’s resources to innovate in areas such as disease detection and AI applications for Indian languages.

Netweb: Advancing the Sovereign AI Initiative

Netweb is enhancing its range of AI systems with the NVIDIA MGX architecture, providing powerful computing solutions for enterprises and research centers. These advancements aim to support complex AI applications and enhance India’s AI capabilities.

Netweb will collaborate with NVIDIA to deliver next-generation systems that accelerate the development and deployment of sophisticated AI models.

These developments represent a significant step forward in India’s AI landscape and position India as a leader in AI accelerated innovation. The continued collaboration between NVIDIA and the Indian tech giant is expected to boost economic growth and technological advancement.
